Dr. Rushing grew up outside a small town in North Texas. She received her bachelor's degree in biomedical science and her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Texas A&M University. During college she worked at a small animal clinic as a technician and fostered for a local shelter. She loves working with all animals from small to large and even did an externship in Africa treating the exotic wildlife! After graduation she moved back to North Texas to join the team at Gully Animal Hospital. In her free time she enjoys playing sports and hiking with her dog Kalea. She also is the proud owner of two cats, Sully and Luna.
